Winner of national and local awards, Fletcher Boland is an accomplished visual artist. Boland’s work shows the mystery, beauty and perfection of the natural world without the encumbrances of our lives and everyday surroundings.
One of his earliest works, Untitled, 2001 won the Boston Globe’s Gold Key Award. Nationally, it won a Gold Award from the Alliance for Young Artists and was exhibited at the Corcoran Gallery in Washington D.C.
Boland’s latest exhibition, Boundless was held at the Concord Free Public Library Gallery in, Concord, MA in March, 2009. More recently, he has shown his work at the Somerville Open Studios in Somerville, MA. His work has also been featured in a number of student shows and sold through a 2008 juried auction at the Museum of Fine Arts, Boston.
